Seagrove Park + L’auberge Del Mar Rooftop Wedding
Like a lot of modern love stories, Jamie and Marc met online. But the connection they formed over the Internet quickly translated into a real-life romance, and Marc knew he wanted to marry Jamie after a Christmas vacation the two took to his native home of Lebanon. Of course, knowing you want to propose and actually proposing are two very different things, and he took a few months before he actually popped the big question. She said “yes” when he got down on one knee after a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner.
Once these two knew they would be walking down the aisle, they didn’t want to drag the engagement out—they were both just so ready to be husband and wife. So just 6 months after he proposed, Mark and Jamie said “I Do” in front of their closest friends and family.
Their big wedding must-haves were pretty simple, really. It was important to Marc and his family that they be married in an Orthodox church, and it was important to Jamie and Marc that their guests have a view of the ocean during their reception. Beyond that, they just wanted a beautiful celebration of their love, attended by the people who mean the most to them.
Some of their most memorable moments from the day included their first look at each other as Jamie walked down the aisle at the church, and their first kiss as a married couple. Getting to see their friends and family all together was also so special to them both, as San Diego is not where either is originally from.
After the big day, these two had one more thing to really look forward to: Their honeymoon in Turks and Caicos!
And of course, their happily ever after!
