Yes, wedding in Polebridge, Montana! We flew off to beautiful Glacier National Park for this amazing, low-key, fun and family oriented wedding. Set in an open field surrounded by amazing mountains and the biggest sky on earth, it was breathtaking to say the least.
We flew into Whitefish, then drove north 35 mile past Columbia Falls, to nearly the Canadian border. Then, after driving down a tiny dirt road for 30 minutes we arrived at our destination. Polebridge, population This town of under 100 people is on the Nation register of historic places and comes complete with a real outhouse. At the time, there was no electricity, phone lines, or wifi.

The Band.
Kristin has been taking banjo lessons since November and gave her first ever on stage performance towards the end of the day. It is about 9:30 and still light out!
Finally people started pitching tents to camp for the night. This is the luxury of staying in such a remote place as Polebridge, Montana for your wedding!
If you are interested in having a destination wedding in Montana like this one, there are a few things you should know:
- You will need to coordinate transportation or directions for your guests
- There may be no wifi or cell signal for navigation or communication
- Provide bug spray
- We highly recommend a full-service, travel-wise, wedding planner
- You may need to bring in bathroom facilities
- Consider serving a late meal after dinner service. A few snacks after a long party will help everyone feel their best the next day.
- Make arrangements to camp or glamp in the park or stay in a hotel in Whitefish. We chose the hotel option and were glad for it after such a wonderful, but long day outside.
